About the role
Focus Staff is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a 13-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment
- Assist physicians in interpreting radiographic images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a Radiology Technician setting
- Valid Iowa License
- BLS Certification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist in Iowa
Skills
- Proficient in operating X-ray equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
