Travel Radiology Technician - $2,405 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a 13-week assignment in Akron, Ohio. This role requires 1 year of experience and includes 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Provide reassurance and support to patients
• Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging procedures
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for physician review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• ARRT (R) National Certification
• State-specific licensing when required
• BLS certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)
• BLS
• 2 years of experience

Skills

• Knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment
• Ability to work with patients and provide reassurance
