• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort and safety
• Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images
• Follow radiation safety procedures and protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and quality assurance standards
• Assist with interventional procedures as needed
• Provide excellent patient care and communication throughout the imaging process

Requirements

• Active and valid state radiology technician license or certification (ARRT preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Radiology Technician in an acute care hospital setting
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in various healthcare settings and travel assignments

Schedule

• Shift: 1400-2230 (14:00 - 22:30)
• 40 hours per week, with guaranteed hours as per contract
