Travel Radiology Technician - $2,230 per week

About the role

The Oregon-based healthcare provider is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Technologist) for a 13-week travel assignment at a short-term acute care facility. The role involves working rotating shifts with a focus on hospital and operating room experiences, including procedures involving fluoroscopy and O-arm. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including on-call and weekend work, to support a busy clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal decubitus and supine exams
• Conduct trauma imaging and C-arm procedures
• Perform portable radiography and administer contrast media
• Operate fluoroscopy and O-arm technology
• Handle 150-200 exams per day on weekdays and 100-120 exams on weekends
• Assist with surgical procedures
• Use electronic charting systems, specifically Epic
• Work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays (minimum one weekend per month)
• Comply with all client policies regarding background checks, RTO, and floating responsibilities

Requirements

• Certification in Radiologic Technology with ARRT (Radiology)
• BLS certification
• Hospital experience
• ARRT certification (pending acceptable if applicable)
• Two recent references covering at least one year within the last three years
• Vehicle required for travel between facilities or units

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with fluoroscopy and O-arm technology
• Trauma level I or II procedure experience

Schedule

• Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift
• Minimum 40 hours per week
• On-call and weekend work required (minimum one weekend per month)

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
