Travel Radiology Technician - $2,159 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a 13-week assignment in Pontiac, Michigan. This full-time, travel position involves 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients while providing reassurance and support.
• Follow physician orders to determine which areas of the patient's body require imaging.
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment to the appropriate settings.
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self by taking appropriate protection precautions.
• Calibrate imaging equipment and prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ARRT (R) National Certification.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay
