Travel Radiology Technician - $2,142 per week
Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a 13‑week assignment in State College, Pennsylvania. The role is full‑time travel, 40 hours per week, with an 8‑hour day shift Monday through Friday and flexible start times between 6:15 AM and 7:00 AM. Start date is ASAP.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a radiology technician
- Current ARRT certification as a radiology technician
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, renewed every two years
Qualifications
- Basic computer operational skills
- Physical strength to assist with lifting, moving, and positioning patients, as well as handling equipment and supplies
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive attitude, particularly in high‑stress situations
- Strong communication skills, including understanding verbal instructions and accurately documenting information
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Perform and process radiographic and fluoroscopic tests as scheduled, demonstrating appropriate skills and thorough understanding of all equipment
- Obtain images using the appropriate equipment and ensure proper transfer to PACS
- Document tests and procedures electronically
- Assist with various clinical and office functions, including support for anesthesia, materials management, performing pregnancy tests and EKGs, and ensuring supplies are organized and correctly logged
- Monitor inventory of radiology supplies and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and reporting any malfunctions
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors and managers to adjust schedules and provide coverage as necessary
- Adhere to aseptic techniques when performing tests during surgical procedures
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all records and information encountered during work activities
