About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a position in Norfolk, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various radiographic equipment.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Adhere to infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Current state license as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Experience in radiography preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Passing score on the Registry Examination for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS).
Skills
- Proficient in operating radiographic equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
