Travel Radiology Technician - $1,440 per week
Job Description
Take X-Ray images of specified body areas as directed
Follow established procedures for transferring, preparing, and positioning of patients
Work in all areas of the department (CR/DR expertise in image manipulation, documentation, replication, storage and retrieval)
Operate radiographic equipment following patient safety, radiation safety, and health standards
Perform quality control measures for printers, and readers when necessary
Provide basic nursing skills and quality patient care
Complete diagnostic work as requested
Process and QA x-ray images in preparation for reading by the Radiologist
Maintain and clean radiographic and non-radiographic equipment
Provide hospitable guest and patient services
Requirements
- Must be registered with the ARRT
- Posses a State of Hawaii License (RT)
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care to various types of patients
- Able to maintain professional and cordial relationships with patients, clerical staff, and all medical personnel
- Previous DXA and CT experience are a plus
