Core Duties

• Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for diagnosis
• Perform a range of imaging procedures, including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy
• Prepare patients, position them correctly, and ensure safety and infection control protocols
• Verify patient identity and exam requests; document and communicate imaging findings as appropriate
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to optimize image quality and workflow
• Maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot basic issues, and observe radiation safety practices

Requirements

• Active radiology license or permit as required by state regulations
• Certification in radiography (ARRT) or eligibility preferred
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (education aligned with standard practice)
• Ability to work in a hospital imaging department and adapt to a rotating 12-hour shift schedule
• Experience with CT imaging and general radiography/fluoroscopy is desirable
