Travel Radiology Tech - $2,605 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Neptune, New Jersey.

About the role

This contract position requires a Radiology Technologist to work 40 hours per week on a 10-hour night shift. The role is ideal for an allied health professional with experience in radiology, particularly in critical care settings.

Responsibilities

• Obtain useful diagnostic details to assist physicians in determining further treatment for patients.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
• Produce x-ray films of parts of the human body for diagnostic purposes, such as identifying cancer or fractures.
• Instruct patients on appropriate positions to ensure accurate imaging.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations, as well as accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
• Promote an environment of excellence focused on timely, compassionate, and quality patient care.

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Two years of X-Ray Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly payment estimates include a gross estimate of hourly wages and reimbursements for meal, incidental, and housing expenses.
