Travel Radiology Tech - $2,276 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. This is a full-time travel position with a start date of September 7, 2026, working 40 hours per week on a 4x10 hour day shift schedule (Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM). Weekend rotation is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, portable, trauma, fluoroscopic, and surgical imaging procedures
• Operate GE Rad rooms, GE and Shiazzu portable units, OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arms
• Document imaging using Cerner Rad Net EMR
• Work within a large radiology team with shift-based supervisor support
• Function independently with self-motivation in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to facility dress code (black scrub attire required)

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology
• Proficiency in portable and OR imaging
• Experience in ED trauma imaging required
• Experience with fluoroscopic procedures preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
