Travel Radiology/Cardiology X-Ray Tech - $2,074 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for an immediate opening in Richland, WA. The position is for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, and 8-hour shifts. The employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Provide reassurance and support to patients
• Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging procedures
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for physicians
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• ARRT (R) National Certification
• State-specific licensing when required
• BLS certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty

Skills

• Knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Strong communication skills
