About the role
A skilled Radiologic Technologist is needed for a travel assignment, performing advanced imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images according to physician orders
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and address their questions
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Evaluate image quality, present findings to healthcare teams, and document procedures accurately
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and radiation safety compliance
- Perform additional duties within the scope of practice as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum one year of radiologic technologist experience
- Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license and BLS certification
- Critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and computer skills
- Physical ability to move and handle equipment (50-100 lbs) and work in various physical positions
- Ability to work effectively with diverse healthcare personnel and handle stressful situations
- Visual acuity and effective communication skills
