Travel Radiologic Technologist - $2,378 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. This role requires 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and operates on a days schedule. The position is open to candidates with 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support
• Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging procedures
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
• Prepare and care for patients undergoing radiologic testing
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification
• State-specific licensing (if required)
• A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)
• BLS
• 2 years of experience (additional certifications may be required)

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
