Travel Radiologic Technologist - $2,247 per week

Thrive Staffing is seeking an experienced X‑Ray Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. The technologist will operate radiographic equipment and provide high‑quality imaging services to patients, with flexibility for varied shifts and on‑call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment, including DR fixed, DR fluoroscopy, C‑arms, and portable DR units.
• Produce high‑quality diagnostic images for patient care.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and wear a dosimetry badge.
• Respond to on‑call duties, averaging three days of call per month.
• Utilize Epic EMR and equipment such as Philips DR, Philips C‑arms, and OEC C‑arms (preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license (required by start of assignment).
• Current ARRT certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

General Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with the radiographic equipment listed above.
• Understanding of radiation safety and protocols.
• Experience with Epic EMR and Philips/OEC imaging systems (preferred).
• Ability to work flexible 8‑hour shifts; no guarantee of hours or time off during the contract.
• No request for time off will be granted in the first 13 weeks of the contract.

Pay

Compensation is based on 8‑hour shifts and a 40‑hour work week, with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• Start date: November 2, 2026.
• Assignment length: 13 weeks.
• 40 hours per week, 8‑hour flexible shifts.
• Average of three days of on‑call per month.
• Travelers must arrive on the island the Friday before the Monday start for HR and EH clearance appointments.
