Travel Radiologic Technologist - $2,036 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in State College, Pennsylvania. As a Travel X-Ray Tech, you’ll be responsible for capturing diagnostic images using radiographic equipment, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and supporting providers with accurate imaging needed for treatment and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams on patients in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings
• Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure optimal image quality
• Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain sterile technique
• Communicate clearly with patients and collaborate with radiologists and care teams
• Maintain and calibrate radiologic equipment as needed

Requirements

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
• Active state license or eligibility to practice as a Radiologic Technologist
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent X-ray experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• Proficiency in portable X-rays, C-arm, and trauma imaging preferred
• Strong attention to detail, positioning, and image quality standards
