Travel Radiologic Technologist - $1,723 per week

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment at a hospital in El Dorado, Kansas. This is a travel job with a starting date of ASAP and a duration of 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment
• Absorb and position patients
• Work standing for extended periods of time
• Ensure precautions are taken to ensure safety when working with radiation
• Apply appropriate radiation protection techniques
• Apply appropriate patient care techniques
• Perform general radiographic procedures
• Assist with patient preparation and positioning
• Document patient information accurately
• Follow hospital policies and procedures
• Adhere to infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology
• AART Registered
• American Heart Association BLS certified
• Competent in all General X-ray procedures
• Minimum of 1 year of prior relevant experience

Pay

$1,566 - $1,723 per week* with a 7-week contract with the possibility to extend.
