Position: Radiation Therapist – Radiation Therapy Tech
Location: Globe, Arizona (surgical center setting)
Start Date: 09/16/2026
Duration: 13-week temporary travel assignment
Shift: Days
Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week
Weekly Pay Range: $2,491 – $2,690

Key Policies

• RTO: No more than 3 days may be requested per 13-week contract
• 100-mile radius policy: Traveler must not have a permanent address within 100 miles of the assignment facility
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment; guaranteed hours will not apply to canceled shifts

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy to patients under direction of a licensed physician, ensuring accurate dosing and treatment field setup
• Prepare treatment areas, verify patient identity, and apply immobilization devices as required
• Operate linear accelerator, treatment planning and imaging equipment; perform verification imaging as directed
• Conduct quality assurance checks on equipment and dosimetry; document results and maintain patient records
• Maintain patient safety through adherence to infection control, radiation safety protocols, and shielding practices
• Collaborate with oncology team, dosimetrists, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate patient care and treatment delivery

Requirements

• Flu vaccine required with no exceptions
• Must not have a permanent address within 100 miles of the assignment facility
• No more than 3 days of RTO may be requested per 13-week contract
• Availability to work days shift for a 13-week assignment
• Willingness to comply with assignment policies, including potential facility-initiated shift cancellations and non-guaranteed hours
