Travel Radiation Therapist Radiation Therapy Tech Job

Overview

Radiation Therapist travel assignment in Greenbrae, California. Starts 08/10/2026 for 13 weeks with 36 guaranteed hours per week. 5x8 day shift (Monday–Friday, start times around 0700–0800). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital Radiation Oncology department.

Responsibilities

• Properly set up and align patients using imaging techniques to deliver prescribed radiation therapy
• Assess patient status during direct patient interactions and refer to appropriate health care team members as needed
• Prepare for treatment delivery, including chart/film checks, room set-up, calculations, MOSAIQ checks, and treatment calendar programming
• Perform patient setup and CT simulation for radiation therapy planning purposes, as needed
• Work closely with other radiation therapists and team members to perform additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification and California RTT license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience
• Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy program (per regulatory standards)
• Ability to perform patient setup, CT simulation, and treatment delivery in a hospital setting
• Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and accommodate a 5x8 day shift

Skills

• Knowledge of Varian TrueBeam and MOSAIQ is preferred

Pay

• Weekly pay: $2,552–$2,788 per week

• 5x8 day shifts, Monday–Friday with start times around 0700–0800
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment
