Travel Radiation Therapist - Oncology - $2,600 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Maumee, Ohio. This role starts on 08/24/2026 and offers a 40-hour work week with 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic doses of radiation in the treatment of cancerous growths.
• Discuss treatment plans with patients, developed in partnership with a clinical oncologist and physician.
• Establish the correct radiation dosage and treatment location.
• Help patients understand potential side effects of radiation treatment and how to manage them.
• Safely provide radiotherapy treatment to patients and operate related medical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations, as well as accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective, and patient-focused care in a timely and compassionate manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatment regimens.

Requirements

• Most states require licensure.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Eighteen months of Radiation Therapy experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
