MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a contract position in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The assignment starts 10/19/2026 and lasts 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts. MedPro Healthcare Staffing is a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency that places allied health travelers in top healthcare facilities nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic doses of radiation in the treatment of cancerous growths.
• Discuss treatment plans with patients; developed in partnership with a clinical oncologist and physician.
• Establish the correct radiation dosage and location or area to treat.
• Help patients understand potential side effects of radiation treatment and how to manage them.
• Safely provide the correct radiotherapy treatment to patients.
• Operate the medical equipment used for radiotherapy.
• Assure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence that is patient‑focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatment regimen.

Requirements

• Licensure as required by most states.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
• Current CPR certification.
• Eighteen months of Radiation Therapy experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
