Radiation Therapist in a medical facility located in the San Juan River Valley, providing treatment for geriatric and adult patient populations. This role involves working in a state-of-the-art radiation oncology department, utilizing Varian TruBeam systems to deliver cancer treatments. Responsibilities
- Provide radiation therapy to geriatric and adult patients undergoing cancer treatment.
- Operate Varian Edge LINAC and Varian TruBeam systems to deliver prescribed treatments.
- Adapt to diverse patient needs and work flexibly with treatment plans.
- Maintain compliance with radiation oncology protocols and safety standards.
Requirements
- New Mexico state license
- ARRT (T) certification
- BLS from American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Education from an accredited radiation therapy program
Qualifications
- Experience with Varian TruBeam systems
- Knowledge of radiation oncology protocols for cancer treatment
Skills
- Proficient with Varian TruBeam and Varian Edge LINAC equipment
- Familiar with radiation oncology treatment planning and delivery
