Travel Radiation Therapist - $3,040 per week

Prime Staffing is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment in San Angelo, Texas.

About the role

The Radiation Therapist administers radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. Duties include setting up and operating radiation equipment, verifying patient identity and treatment parameters, monitoring patients during treatment, and maintaining accurate treatment records. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and compliance with regulatory standards throughout therapy.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist
• Set up and operate radiation therapy equipment
• Verify patient identity and treatment parameters
• Monitor patients during treatment
• Maintain accurate treatment records
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a clinical radiation oncology setting (preferred)
• Active state or compact RN license
• ARRT (T) certification
• BLS certification
• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program

Qualifications

• Valid ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Current BLS certification

Schedule

• 13-week contract
• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour shifts (08:00–16:00)

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, including a tax-free stipend (amount to be determined).
