We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering radiation therapy treatments while adhering to the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
• Utilize advanced technology and treatment planning software to ensure precise delivery of radiation.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to any changes in their condition.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with established protocols.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality assurance initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations related to radiation exposure.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(T) certification mandatory.
• Valid Ohio state license required.
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required.
• Graduation from a program in Radiation Therapy Technology accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEA).
• Experience with electronic medical records and record verification systems related to radiation oncology preferred.
• Familiarity with external radiation therapy techniques, IMRT, IGRT, and CT simulation highly desirable.

Schedule

• Shifts may vary with start times ranging from 6 AM to 12 PM, consisting of 8-hour workdays.
• Weekend and holiday on-call rotations may be required.
• Flexibility to float to other facilities within the region expected.

Pay

Pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
