Travel Radiation Therapist - $2,903 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The position requires 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts. Candidates must have at least one year of experience as a Radiation Therapist, a current BLS certification, and ARRT (T) National Certification; state licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment
• Position patients accurately and comfortably for each treatment session
• Verify treatment settings and patient identity before delivering therapy
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Use imaging technology (e.g., CT, X‑rays) to guide accurate treatment delivery
• Document treatment details and maintain accurate patient records
• Communicate effectively with physicians, dosimetrists, and other team members
• Educate patients and families on procedures, side effects, and care during treatment
• Inspect, maintain, and calibrate radiation therapy equipment regularly
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols for both patients and staff

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (T) National Certification
• State licensure may be required
• Ability to stand for long periods, work precisely with complex equipment, and provide compassionate care in emotionally sensitive situations
