Travel Radiation Therapist - $2,800 per week

About the role

Radiation Therapist in a medical imaging and radiation oncology setting. The role involves operating Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and utilizing the Varian ARIA Oncology Information System to provide treatment for a mixed patient population including both pediatric and adult patients. The position emphasizes experience with IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT techniques, with a focus on delivering quality patient care within a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Varian TrueBeam (and Trilogy) linear accelerators.
• Utilize Varian ARIA Oncology Information System (Epic preferred) for treatment planning and delivery.
• Provide radiation therapy to pediatric and adult patients.
• Deliver IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT treatments.
• Maintain quality patient care in a fast‑paced environment.
• Handle approximately 25 patients per machine daily.

Requirements

• Certified Radiation Therapist – ARRT (T)
• BLS Certification
• West Virginia state license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam or Trilogy treatment machines
• Proficiency with Aria EMR (Epic preferred)
• Experience handling a patient load of approximately 25 patients per machine daily

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

8‑hour days, Monday through Friday, with weekends
