About the role
LRS Healthcare - Allied is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week position starting immediately in Omaha, Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Treatment planning and delivery under the supervision of a physician
- Assist patients with positioning and treatment procedures
- Monitor patient progress and report any adverse reactions
- Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in the state of Nebraska
- Experience in radiation therapy preferred
- Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Successful completion of an accredited program
- Passing score on the national certification exam
Skills
- Proficient in radiation therapy equipment operation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
