Travel Radiation Therapist - $2,743 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for an immediate opening in Medford, Oregon. The position is an Allied Health Professional role with a start date of 11/02/2026, a duration of 13 weeks, and requires 40 hours per week on an 8‑hour day shift. Employment type is travel. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience as a Radiation Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment
• Position patients accurately and comfortably for each treatment session
• Verify treatment settings and patient identity before delivering therapy
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Use imaging technology (e.g., CT, X‑rays) to guide accurate treatment delivery
• Document treatment details and maintain accurate patient records
• Communicate effectively with physicians, dosimetrists, and other team members
• Educate patients and families on procedures, side effects, and care during treatment
• Inspect, maintain, and calibrate radiation therapy equipment regularly
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols for both patients and staff

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (T) National Certification
• State licensure may be required
• Ability to stand for long periods, work precisely with complex equipment, and provide compassionate care in emotionally sensitive situations
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
• Requirements*: BLS, ARRT (T), 5 Years
