LRS Healthcare - Allied is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 11-week assignment starting immediately in Sun City, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in the state of Arizona.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in radiation therapy.
• Knowledge of radiation physics, dosimetry, and radiation oncology principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Passing scores on the national certification exam.

Skills

• Proficient in radiation therapy equipment operation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
