About the role
Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 12-week assignment starting on July 20, 2026, in Des Moines, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a medical physicist and radiation oncologist.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery using imaging equipment.
- Document all aspects of each treatment session in the patient’s medical record.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in Iowa.
- Experience in radiation therapy preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Successfully completed an accredited program in radiation therapy.
- Passing score on the state licensing exam.
Skills
- Proficiency with radiation therapy equipment and technology.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The pay rate for this position is $X per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
