Travel Radiation Therapist - $2,668 per week

Noor Inc. is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Winchester, Virginia.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Radiation TherapistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 12/07/2026Duration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelEstimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2667.80 Opportunity: Radiation Therapist Job Details: • Monday through Friday day shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8s) • 36 hours guaranteed per week • No on-call requirements • November 22nd is a required work day; Thursday and Friday of that week will be off • 1 opening available • Provide daily care of cancer patients including accurate interpretation and delivery of radiation treatments in accordance with radiation oncologist prescriptions and instructions • Perform simulations and provide clinical instruction for radiation therapy students • Assist during Brachytherapy procedures • Assist in treatment planning procedures including tumor localization and dosimetry • Triage sick patients to nursing for evaluation • Check prescriptions, diagnoses, charts, and patient identification • Schedule patients and explain pre-treatment and post-treatment procedures • Prepare rooms and equipment according to prescription requirements including immobilization devices, field sizes, treatment devices, and lead protection devices • Take and check images of all treated areas, process and file appropriately • Maintain visual and audible contact with patients during treatments • Observe and document radiation safety measures for patients and personnel • Set up IMRT and 3-D patients properly in CT and make proper immobilization devices for 2-D, 3-D, and IMRT patients • Document treatment doses, set-up instructions, and dosimetry calculations accurately • Equipment used: Varian Truebeam and Phillips Big Bore CT Scanner • EMR system: EPIC • Scrub color: Caribbean Blue or any matching solid color top and bottom • Required certifications: BLS, ARRT • Virginia license required; Virginia temporary license acceptable with a pending Virginia license • Minimum 2 years of experience required Facility: This medical center is a leading regional healthcare facility offering a comprehensive range of services including a dedicated Therapeutic Radiology unit focused on cancer patient care.
