Travel Radiation Therapist - $2,650 per week

About the role

Radiation Therapist RTT position in Medford, Oregon. This role involves delivering external beam radiation therapy treatments utilizing Varian TrueBeam and Elekta Infinity treatment machines. The position requires experienced professionals to support a radiation oncology department with a focus on patient care and treatment procedures. Travel assignment starting 11/02/2026 for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Deliver external beam radiation therapy treatments using Varian TrueBeam and Elekta Infinity treatment machines
• Perform CT scans as part of treatment planning and delivery
• Participate in department-specific training and orientation (typically 3–5 days for experienced therapists)
• Operate treatment machines in pairs — two therapists per machine at all times
• Support radiation oncology department operations with focus on patient care and treatment procedures

Requirements

• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in external beam radiation therapy patient treatment delivery
• Oregon Board of Medical Imaging licensure
• Proficiency operating Varian TrueBeam and Elekta Infinity treatment machines
• Valid licensure, ARRT, and BLS certifications must be submitted with application

Schedule

Rotating shift with regular weekday hours (Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM); minimum 40 hours per week. Some flexibility for treatment needs or machine downtime may be required.

Pay

Pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
