Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
• Accurately position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment to deliver safe, effective treatments.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary while maintaining detailed records.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology nurses to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide patient education, reassurance, and support throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (T).
• Active Ohio state license (if required).
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• 1–2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist.

Pay

$2,368 – $2,609 per week (based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, subject to confirmation; tax-free stipend amount to be determined).

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week; 8-hour day shifts. Contract duration: 13 weeks with possibility of extension. Start date: ASAP.
