About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide radiation therapy services under the supervision of a physician
- Operate and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and safety
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
- Monitor patients during treatments and adjust settings as necessary
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in radiation therapy
- 6 months of experience in allied health
- Current ARRT (T) certification
- BLS certification
- Appropriate certifications and licensure as needed for the specific position
Qualifications
- RN with a minimum of 1 year in specialty
- 6 months of experience in allied health
- Adventurous spirit and dedication to patient care
- Appropriate degree in corresponding specialty as required
Skills
- Proficiency with radiation therapy equipment
