About the role
Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a position in Richmond, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Treatment planning and delivery using Varian TrueBeam, Varian Trilogy, and OSMSE equipment.
- Collaboration with medical oncologists and dosimetrists to ensure accurate patient treatment plans.
- Ensuring compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations.
- Assisting patients through the treatment process, including pre-treatment consultations and post-treatment follow-ups.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in Virginia.
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam, Varian Trilogy, and OSMSE equipment.
- Knowledge of ARIA 15.5 software.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
