Health Carousel - Travel Allied is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Joplin, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions.
- Accurately document all patient treatments and activities in the medical record.
- Follow established protocols and guidelines for radiation therapy administration.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in the state of Missouri.
- Experience in radiation therapy preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
- Passing score on the national certification exam.
Skills
- Proficiency in radiation therapy equipment and techniques.
- Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective problem-solving skills.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
