About the role
PRIDE Health is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week position in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments under the supervision of a medical physicist and physician.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions.
- Accurately document all aspects of each treatment session.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in North Carolina.
- Experience in radiation therapy, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
Skills
- Proficiency in radiation therapy equipment and procedures.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and staff.
