Responsibilities

• Treatment planning and delivery under the supervision of a medical physicist and radiation oncologist.
• Assist in patient positioning and setup for radiation therapy treatments.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or related health science field.
• Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in the state of Georgia.
• Experience in radiation therapy preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the national certification exam for Radiation Therapists.
• Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry.
• Proficiency in computer software used in radiation therapy.
