Travel Radiation Oncology RN - $2,520 per week

Job Summary

The Bronx, New York is seeking a Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for an ambulatory clinic within a healthcare provider organization. This position involves delivering patient-centered care to oncology patients undergoing radiation therapy, adhering to professional nursing standards and organizational policies. The RN will assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, administer treatments, monitor patient responses, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality, safety, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients undergoing radiation therapy
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Administer treatments and monitor patient responses
• Assess treatment side effects and educate patients and families
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize EPIC as the charting system

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Radiation oncology experience
• PALS certification
• Brachytherapy experience

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS certification
• Radiation oncology experience
• Brachytherapy experience
• Oncology experience

Schedule

• Days shift, 7.5 hours per day, minimum of 37.5 hours per week
• Unit notes specify a preference for 8-hour shifts; if 10-hour shifts are preferred, they would need to be scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with Thursday off
• Start Date: 08/12/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
