Travel PT Outpatient - $2,728 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Onancock, Virginia. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week on an 8-hour, day shift. Employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines
• Comply with the respective PT board's rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply
• Current BLS certification and state-specific licensing
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
