Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee all phases of assigned industrial mechanical projects, ensuring alignment with client and company objectives.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and internal teams to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks proactively.
- Enforce safety standards and ensure full OSHA compliance on all job sites.
- Monitor progress, performance, and financial metrics to ensure successful delivery.
- Review and manage project contracts, change orders, and documentation.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, engineers, and executive leadership.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing projects in industrial mechanical construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification required; PMP certification is a plus.
Skills
- Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical drawings.
- Confident, organized leader with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong problem solver with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Committed to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Combination of office and field work on active construction sites.
- Frequent standing, walking, and site visits required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and industrial work environments.
- PPE required when on job sites.
- Travel between projects and occasional overnight stays as needed.
