Travel Project Manager - Mission Critical

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee all phases of assigned industrial mechanical projects, ensuring alignment with client and company objectives.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and internal teams to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks proactively.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure full OSHA compliance on all job sites.
• Monitor progress, performance, and financial metrics to ensure successful delivery.
• Review and manage project contracts, change orders, and documentation.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, engineers, and executive leadership.
• Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing projects in industrial mechanical construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required; PMP certification is a plus.

Skills

• Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical drawings.
• Confident, organized leader with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong problem solver with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Committed to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Combination of office and field work on active construction sites.
• Frequent standing, walking, and site visits required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and industrial work environments.
• PPE required when on job sites.
• Travel between projects and occasional overnight stays as needed.
