About the Role
This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for adult patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards. The role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, promotes safety, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and discharge planning needs
- Formulate and revise care plans
- Provide direct patient care
- Delegate appropriately
- Participate in research and quality improvement activities
- Communicate effectively across departments and with external contacts
Schedule
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid RN license in Wyoming or a compact RN licensure for the state of practice
- BLS certification
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting, preferably with exposure to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Maintain clinical performance competencies demonstrated through annual validations
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Professional certification relevant to acute or progressive care
Physical Requirements
The environment may require physical agility, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 75 pounds, while adhering to standard precautions for blood and bodily fluid exposure.
