About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in a step-down, telemetry, and PCU setting.
- Work 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, days.
- Follow scrub color guidelines (Navy Blue/White or combination).
- Document using Cerner.
- Assist with weekends, no-call policy, and unit floating.
- Adhere to patient experience and safety standards.
- Perform minimal bedside procedures.
- Follow hospital-specific certifications and dress code.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years recent MedSurg, Telemetry, and Step-Down experience.
- Positive attitude with a focus on teamwork.
- Charge Nurse experience or willingness to consider.
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
- Uniform guidelines must be followed.
Qualifications
Preference given to candidates with a well-rounded background, including advanced skills such as Charge Nurse experience.
