Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $2,425 per week
Job Summary
The Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position supports a 24-bed specialty care hospital offering advanced services including open heart surgery, neuro-surgery, cath lab procedures, trauma care, and continuous renal replacement therapy. The RN will work night shifts in a dynamic environment, providing care to a diverse patient population in a facility dedicated to the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in CVICU, Neuro ICU, organ donation, or pediatric diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA)
Additional Information
- Floating may be required on a rotation with travel nurses
Responsibilities
- Caring for adults with post-open heart, heart failure, respiratory failure, trauma, post-stroke, and septic shock
- Using equipment such as IV pumps, Omnicell, Prisma Flex CRRT, Impella, IABP, EVDs, ventilators, bipap, and high-flow oxygen
