Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $2,232 per week

About the Role

Travel nursing position in Lima, Ohio for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This assignment is for 13 weeks with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative care for open-heart patients.
• Assist with chest tube removal and pericardial pacing wire removal.
• Manage temporary pacers, including pericardial and transcutaneous devices.
• Use and troubleshoot non-invasive ventilation (NIV) devices, high-flow oxygen, and other oxygen delivery systems.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, recognizing and responding to changes.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access.
• Manage chest tubes and other drains.

Requirements

• Active ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU or similar setting.
