Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $2,118 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac care. The successful candidate will join a progressive care unit, focusing on the management and treatment of adult patients with cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families on cardiac health management and discharge planning.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Step-down or ICU setting preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience in a progressive care unit setting.
• Knowledge of cardiac care protocols and procedures.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and medication administration.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00
