Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $2,055 per week

Job Summary

A Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in the healthcare industry. This role involves providing direct patient care, performing nursing assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. The RN will also supervise ancillary nursing personnel and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained throughout the shift.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required prior to first shift.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only).
  • Critical care experience highly desired.
  • Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  • Performs comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
  • Develops and updates individualized care plans.
  • Initiates discharge planning from the day of admission.
  • Ensures accurate, timely documentation of all patient care activities.

Qualifications

No minimum years of experience required.

Provides direction and supervision to ancillary staff, participates in team building activities, and fosters a positive work environment.

Additional Notes

The RN will assume charge responsibilities after orientation as requested and utilizes problem-solving and organizational skills to prioritize patient care activities.
