About the role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in a progressive care unit setting.
- Perform duties as assigned by the attending physician and other healthcare providers.
- Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and medications.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
- At least one year of progressive care unit experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current BLS certification.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of progressive care unit protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for providing exceptional patient care.
Skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
Benefits
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
