About the role
The registered nurse specializes in progressive care unit (PCU) in Lancaster, Ohio. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care using the nursing process. The nurse will provide comprehensive care for patients requiring intermediate monitoring and interventions, ensuring adherence to facility policies and guidelines.
Schedule
- Nights shift with 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and deliver quality patient care in a progressive care environment
- Provide patient education
- Administer medications and treatments
- Ensure equipment readiness
- Perform duties requiring physical ability for heavy work, emotional regulation, and strong critical-thinking skills
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited nursing program leading to a diploma in nursing, an associate degree in nursing (ADN), or a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN)
- Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio
- CPR certification
- 0 years minimum experience

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
