Job Details

Position: RN PCU (Progressive Care Unit)

Job involves working every other weekend with no call required.

Electronic Health Record system used

EHR system used: Cerner OneChart.

Dress Code

Dress code includes Ceil blue scrubs.

Job Requirements

• Current nursing license verified through Nursys within 30 days prior to start.
• Completion of Ascension Core Competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics with minimum 80% passing score.
• Completion of Ascension EKG Exam with at least 80% passing score, updated every 3 years.
• MOAB Moderate Risk De-Escalation Training required.
• Completion of Ascension Cerner Test-Out and Training Checklist with signed attestation.
• Documentation of immunizations and health requirements: MMR (two vaccines or positive IGG titer), Hepatitis B vaccination series or declination, Varicella immunity or vaccination, Tdap valid within 10 years, Influenza vaccine recommended during flu season (mask required if declined), 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing with annual TB questionnaire.
• Fit Test required annually, preferred prior to start.
• Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
• Completion of Ascension Skills Checklist within one year of start and updated annually for specialty.
• Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and others within 90 days of assignment, updated annually.
• Employment verification for past seven years, updated annually.
• Education verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start.
• Driver's License or State ID must be current and match address requirements.

Schedule Information

• Shift hours: 19:00 - 07:30 (12-hour night shift).
• Work schedule includes every other weekend.
• No on-call duties.
